It Came Alive!

After a long couple of months, the first Firefly Productions feature film is nearing completion. Shot over two months and two continents, It Came Alive! is set to start a revival in the mockumentary-about-a-B-movie sub-sub-sub genre. You heard it here first.

bluepostersmallTeaming up with serial film-maker Johnnie Oddball and US producer Hank Braxtan, the film follows the shooting of fictional film  It Came Alive! as a hapless crew blunder through it's ever-failing production.

Over the last few months we've set to work shooting both comedy scenes for the fictional film, and mockumentary footage. We'd never actually been in the same room as Hank and his team but the passion and drive was there (as was Skype) so we took a chance - Hank set about seeing what he could hustle and got on board Arielle Brachfeld with Taylor M. Graham to be our Amercian leading crew whilst Shabby Katchadourian (now of Big Brother fame)& Alex Barclay provided their British alter-egos.

We're making the final tweaks as I type so expect the film to appear in cinemas (read: 'the internet') sometime in the near future.
