Hard at work
We're hard at work preparing for two shoots this weekend, and in the rich tradition of the modern man: when work comes calling, it's time for youtube.
One of these is ridiculous, one sublime. We'll let you decide.
Achievement Unlocked!
No longer enthralled by Adobe's cruel mistress, last weekend saw the Firefly team strike a blow for outdated film makers everywhere, as we attempted to make our third video for the NUS without the help of After effects.
The aim was to make a room destroy itself 'as if by magic', and destroy itself it did. Posters were ripped, jewellery vacated itself from boxes and clothes staged an exodus en masse from a certain cupboard. All with the help of our, it turns out, all too visible wire. Confident that the shots had worked, I boldly handed them over to Gary who kindly responded with:
"The fishing wire is really obvious. I'm going to have to paint it out in after effects."
I still get the achievement though, right?
